Established in 1888, Newtown Artesian Water Company (NAWCO) is a privately owned public water system. NAWCO is regulated by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PAPUC), and complies with Safe Drinking Water Regulations promulgated by the USEPA and PADEP. NAWCO services over 10,500 customers within Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, and the Northern part of Middletown Township.
