Intermountain Section, AWWA
Company Overview
The Intermountain Section of AWWA (the Section) was established in 1952 and covers the geographic areas of Utah and southeastern Idaho. The Section is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides local training and member engagement opportunities for over 650 members. The Section hosts two annual conferences: the Midyear Conference, which is a one-day conference that focuses on the front-line water experts and the Annual Conference, which is a multi-day conference that provides the opportunity for the presentation of a wider variety of topics such as management, case studies, and outreach. Additionally, the 20 individual committees host trainings and briefings throughout the year. For many members, the Section is the primary way they interact with the Association.
